| T-SHIRT: | 25rd annual edition free to all registered runners, depicting animals from the park environment. |
| PROCEEDS: | Net proceeds from this event benefit the East Bay Regional Park
Foundation and Lake Chabot Trail Enhancement Fund. |
| PACKET PICK-UP: | Race packets with bib number must be picked up beginning at 6:30
am on race day. Race packets are not mailed. |
| COURSES: | Half Marathon: 13.1 miles. Challenging hilly loop mostly on
dirt fire roads. 5K: 3.1 miles. Out and back on rolling paved lakeside trail. |
| AWARDS: | Merchandise, laser engraved plaque and complimentary entry to next
year's race to first overall man and woman. Awards to top 3 finishers in each 5-year age division in the Half Marathon and top 3 finishers in each 10-year age division in the 5K. |
| TIMING: | Display clock at finish line. Times will be posted. |
| TIME LIMIT: | Half Marathon time limit is 3 hours. |
| RAFFLE: | Traditional pies and many merchandise prizes generously donated by
our sponsors and local merchants. |
| POST RACE: | Plenty of food and drinks. |
| RESULTS: | Results will be posted on this website. Results will also be
mailed to any runner addressing an envelope at the finish. |
| KIDS FUN RUN: | Free Children's Fun Run for children 10 and under. Registration will be on race day morning, 7:00 - 8:30 am and a parent or guardian's signature is required. The starting time will be 8:45 am. Parents are welcome to accompany their child if needed. A finishers ribbon and energy bar will be given to each child and a group picture will be taken at the end. A small quantity of Lake Chabot Trail Challenge tee-shirts will be available at a reduced price of $5.00. |
| VOLUNTEERS: | Have a fun day helping out with the race! Many jobs are
available at the start/finish area as well as at aid stations. No experience necessary. You'll get a free event teeshirt and have a great time! Please contact us by email below. |
