Join an East Bay tradition in trail running started in 2001.
The Tilden Tough Ten, Lake Chabot Trail Challenge and the Dick Houston Memorial
Woodminster X-C Race have joined forces to offer the East Bay Triple Crown Trail
Championship. Runners who officially enter and finish all three races are
automatically entered in the "Triple Crown". There will be NO additional
fee to participate in the Championship. The winners will be determined by totaling
actual running times of all three races. A presentation of awards to WIN (1st place),
PLACE (2nd place) and SHOW (3rd place) for OpenMen's and Women's division and a
Senior Men's and Women's division (50+) will follow.
Perpetual "Triple Crown" trophies for both open and senior (honoring East Bay
running legends
Ruth Anderson and Joe King) divisions will be on display at Transports in Oakland with the
champion's names and year engraved.
